With our new MCP Server integration, MCP acts as a smart bridge between your existing newsroom systems (like Saga) and everviz. It continuously listens to incoming reports, wire copy and updates from the authorities already flowing into your systems, extracts the spatial data, and hands it directly to everviz to build the map automatically.

How it works in practice: Imagine a major traffic bottleneck developing during morning commute hours.

1. Road authority updates or location data arrive in your newsroom system or Saga
2. MCP automatically pulls the GPS coordinates, location names and congestion metrics already present in the system
3. everviz immediately processes that data into a map with custom overlays showing the exact stretch of affected highway, highlighted in red with estimated delay callouts.

When the reporter sits down to work, the map is already created, styled to match brand guidelines and ready to publish directly into the article or rundown. The MCP integration will be released at IBC.
